Columbus loves community and charm, and our countless local farmers markets are one of the best showcases of these qualities. There are some special market businesses and great smiles in Dublin, where the farmers markets are nothing less than perfect. Dublin offers some amazing small businesses during the summer and early autumn months.

BrootLeg
“We actually invented a machine that makes cold brew faster. So we’ve been working on it for eight years, which we invented in my friend Bill’s basement, and we’ve been refining and now we’re at the point where we’re able to sell our coffee made with out machine”, Chadwick Carter, one of the founders of BrootLeg, told us. Their invention brought Carter the opportunity to sell at the Dublin market this past summer. Chadwick explains “We sell high pressure cold brew. So we have a variety of different options of cold brew, nitro coldbrew, and we sell our bottles of cold brew and our concentrate.” The Ravine got the opportunity to try some of their seasonal pumpkin cold brew and it was nothing less than astounding. The strong coffee taste with hints of pumpkin spices got us so excited for fall!

Knotty Girl
“So I came upon the business actually when the Bengals actually went to the Super Bowl, and I made a Bengals headband, and the lots of friends were asking if they could buy them, and it kind of snowballed from there” Kelly Cousino, Knotty Girl founder, shared. Kelly is a mom of three and when being asked if that’s difficult to manage on top of her business she shared, ”It is hard but I try my best, and when the kids are at school, that’s when I work most.” The Ravine was not only impressed but her amazing time management skills but also the high quality and wide assortment of accessories she offers.

Choco Flowers
“I think there’s always a meaning to flowers. They give you life. The give you good.” Sebastian, co-owner of Choco Flowers says. Sebastian’s family first found their love for flowers 4 years ago at a different local market and they are now branching out while using the Dublin market as their home base. When being asked why they use the Dublin market Sebastian said, “We live in Dublin so we are just giving back to our community.” The Dublin community is beyond lucky to have them!
