At Worthington Kilbourne, we have a whole bunch of options for after-school activities, but our biggest is volleyball. This experience shows how much energy and excitement is gathered at our school. The biggest game is Kilbourne vs. Thomas, the only game that everyone gets extremely excited about. We asked around from players and coaches about their past experiences.
“I think from past experiences we could win with no struggles,” Lydia Banachowski said with full confidence, implying that we could win again and again without a doubt. Our volleyball team is so confident in their wins, and their determination brings more and more excitement and energy to the school.
“We work and work to get where we are today,” Coach Hopkins stated. She has made sure that all of her players have made the best of their time and efforts. WKHS volleyball is a very competitive sport within all the games that they have. The Thomas vs. Kilbourne game is the one where everyone puts all their skill and effort into their gameplay.
For the next week, from September 9th to the 18th, our girls’ volleyball team will be preparing for the most exciting game ever. They will make new plays and come up with new ideas on how to win this upcoming game. Lydia Banachowski, who is on the JV A team, is part of a very hardworking team because they work hard enough to get up to varsity. They have enough compassion to help the people on JV B. Our JV teams are energetic and amazing, just as amazing as our varsity team. Our varsity team has worked so hard to be in the spot they are today. The confidence and the energy they bring are incredible.
