Summer Bucket List: Bridge Park

Summer break is just days away which means there is no better time than now to plan some fun activities to do over the next 3 months! Lots of local outdoor shops and restaurants are opening their doors as the weather is warming up, one spot in particular being Bridge Park in Dublin.

The Dublin Market

The Dublin Market is just about to start up their fan-favorite weekly events on Saturday, May 3rd. The market is held every Saturday from 9am-12pm through the end of September with “more than 150 new and returning vendors” (bridgepark.com). Some of the returning well liked vendors include “The Crazy Cucumber, The Peach Truck, Rose Dough Donuts, Wishwell Farms Produce, Mohican Flower Farm, and Olive Roots” (bridgepark.com).

Fore!fest

On Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st, Bridge Park will be hosting a “two-day street and music festival” with food, drinks, live music, and more (bridgepark.com). Fore!fest is partnering with the Memorial Tournament and is a free event to attend, so make sure to check it out from 5-1opm on Friday and 5-11pm on Saturday!

 

The Memorial Tournament

Every year, Bridge Park holds a golf tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin. Some golfers competeing this year include Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Scottie Scheffler, and Justin Thomas. The goal of the tournament is to “honor the memory of individuals living and deceased who have distinguished themselves in the game of golf; to showcase the world’s best golfers competing on one of the most challenging venues in the world for the enjoyment of spectators; and to benefit many Greater Columbus Charities in alliance with the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation and numerous other local organizations” (bridgepark.com). The tournament runs from May 26th to June 1st so get your tickets!
