February, while situated in often one of the coldest, dreariest periods of the year, is also the month of love. Whether romantic or platonic, it is more than likely you have someone in your life that you love, and in the midst of cold and gray skies, taking someone you love out for a date night is always a good idea.
This week, The Ravine took a walk out Dublin Bridge Park, one of Ohio’s best date night areas, to find the best places for a fun night out with those you love.
Bridge Park is located in Dublin, and it’s a 30 acre walkable urban district with housing, businesses, and most people’s favorite restaurants.

The North Market
The North Market is an indoor food court comprising over 13 different restaurants lining the circular perimeter of the market and bench and hightop seating in the middle, seating anywhere from one to twenty guests.
There is a great variety of restaurants in the market, ranging from Korean style BBQ to Boba Tea to fresh pizza. The market also often hosts holiday events such as their past Valentines Day Market with fresh flowers and chocolates available inside, and they host live entertainment some weekend nights.

Kitchen Social
Kitchen Social is an extremely popular restaurant that offers upscale American cuisine, including appetizers like Cheddar and Scallion biscuits and Street Corn Nachos, and a full menu of entrees to cater to any guests’ preferences.
There is a large bar in the middle of the restaurant, and it features some high top seating around the bar with the majority low-top seating around the rest of the restaurant. In the summer there are garage doors that open to create a patio space, and every weekday from 3-6 Kitchen Social hosts their extremely popular Happy Hour where you get ½ off all appetizers and pizzas–except for the biscuits–and money of select drinks.

Vaso Rooftop
Vaso Rooftop is a Spanish-inspired restaurant named for its location in the top story of the AC Hotel by Marriott in Bridge Park.
In order to reach the restaurant, guests must ride up in their glass elevator to the 8th floor, where there is both indoor and outdoor seating and an amazing view of the Scioto river and historic downtown Dublin.
Vaso is the perfect place to go on a more formal date where you get dressed up, and due to their popularity it’s always recommended to make a reservation(and to try and get the patio seating)before you visit.

Valentina’s
Valentina’s offers a unique Barolo-inspired dining experience which mirrors that of an Italian restaurant.
Known for its ambient lighting and upscale atmosphere, Valentina’s features a variety of menu options from pizzas with fresh mozzarella to oysters to a kind of pasta to feed every soul.
Valentina’s is a Cameron Mitchell restaurant made to mimic the feeling of a small Italian village, making it the perfect place for a quieter date.

Cap City
You can’t talk about dates in Bridge Park without talking about Cap City! Cap City is a modern take on the classic American diner, giving homage to its roots in the diner-style decorations and theme of the restaurant while serving a more modern menu with items like Blue Cheese Potato Chips, Romano Crusted Chicken and their highly rated super-sized desserts, like the 24K Carrot Cake and the Seriously Big Chocolate Cake.
